Terms of service.

By using KinoShelf you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

KinoShelf lets you keep a shelf of films, series and anime, track what you watch, and get recommendations. It is free and has no ads. During the private preview only invited accounts can sign in. Features may change, and the service may be paused or discontinued.

Your account

You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for what happens under it. Use KinoShelf for your own, non-commercial purposes. Do not try to break or overload the site, scrape it, or access other members’ data. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

Your ratings, notes and lists stay yours. You let us store and process them to run the service, including showing your activity to friends when sharing is on. You can export or delete them at any time in Settings.

Film data and links

Titles, images, cast and crew come from TMDB; where-to-watch availability from JustWatch; ratings from IMDb (see data credits). This information may be incomplete or out of date. Links to streaming services lead to their own sites, under their own terms. KinoShelf is not affiliated with TMDB, JustWatch, IMDb or any streaming service.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for losses caused by outages, data errors or third-party services.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
